Whether it’s a high wattage stereo system, accessory lights, winches for off-road or towing use, Proflow’s billet aluminium alternator can handle almost anything. This alternator is a combination of an industrial style alternator in an automotive housing, providing an impressive output of 170 amps. A hand-wound stator is used, along with a heavy duty custom rectifier and self-exciting regulator which allows an automatic cut-in for charging at the lowest of RPM’s. This alternator was designed as a direct replacement for early style Delco alternators. No special brackets are required and it also comes with a spare 6-rib groove serpentine pulley and Holden conversion spacer kit.
